Florida Home Bound attempts to provide all regulatory information to our active and new employees (knowledge is power). Therefore, it is critical that you become involved by going to our Home Health Library Blog to learn regulatory by the State/Federal government.

Criteria for Patient Admission: Admission to FHB can only be made under the direction of a physician, based upon the Patient’s identified care needs, home bound status and the type of services required that we can provide directly or through coordination with other organizations. If we cannot meet a Patient’s needs, either directly or indirectly through service agreement with other providers, the Patient must not be admitted nor continue to receive Agency services.

Services: FHB provides a combination of services to a Patient in their home, all under direction of a Physician. FHB employees must plan, coordinate and provide care tailored to each individual Patient’s needs. These services may include: skilled nursing, home health aide (nursing assistant), physical, occupational, and speech therapy, infusion (iv therapy), medical social workers, homemaking, personal care, and companion services.

Initial in-service requires 4 hours.
Biannual in-service requires 2 hours.
For Aides and CNAs only: All Aides and CNAs must complete a total of 12 hours in-services every year. Initial/Biannual in-services are accepted as part of your 12 yearly ACHA required in-services.
